Exploring The Finest Toy Shop in the World!

Guess what...no matter how many times I have said I am giving this "blogging this up", I have always came back for better or for worse.

It's 2016 now and a lot have happened, too many things to be able to put them into one single post. That's why I am not going to be summarizing what has changed but I would rather focus on the places I have visited, the trips I have taken and the lifestyle I am trying to have now.

I have been living in London for a few years now and starting as a tourist I knew there are certain places you have to go and visit! Westmister Abbey, The Parliament, Tower Bridge, go up the Shard, have a shopping spree on Oxford Circus and Regent Street, see a musical in the West End, the list goes on and on and on... from a drink in Soho to a boat trip on the Thames, it's your pick!

I am almost approaching my point, bear with me :)
If you are a parent you definitely have heard of Hamleys, The Finest Toy Shop in the World, however if you are not a parent yet you will be able to rush in, enjoy the demonstrations, take pictures with the Ragdoll, the Toy Soldier, Lego Queen plus the Royal Family without feeling guilty you are more excited than your children!

Jingle All The Way

A few days ago a friend of mine said she has already done her Christmas shopping, I was both surprised and worried. Am I doing the Christmas shopping wrong?
Every year I tend to get all my Christmas presents and decoration the first week of December, but when you have everyone around you shopping for the holidays, you start questioning your method.
So this year I am doing Christmas shopping a lot earlier!

I have started with getting a few small Christmas presents yesterday along with ribbons and wrapping paper. I have made up my mind about the colours; wrapping paper - either gold or red and colourful vintage looking ribbons, they are all so adorable, can't wait to show you the finished wrapped presents!

As for the table decoration, I am considering three different options, hopefully your comments will help me choose one of them. I am leaning towards the Winter Wonderland but love the other two as well.

Let me know what you think about the three options I am torn between and soon will post a
lot more Christmas updates!

To Fall In Love With Blogging All Over Again

I have given myself a rather "small" hiatus from blogging, well the past year I have posted maybe 5-6 times, which is probably the right amount for two weeks? I do not have the right formula but one thing is certain, I was not inspired to post.
Maybe the stress of work, every day life and all the irritation and frustrations I had were not letting me enjoy blogging anymore. Sometimes you just feel stuck, stuck in life, at work, at home...have you felt like that?

Well it is time to get "unstuck"! Recently I felt inspired again, maybe it is the autumn, the changes I decided to make or just the way I am trying to look at things now.  I don't know whether that will lead to me being actively posting every day but I promise that every time I feel like I have something interesting to share, to discuss or just a random "feel good" post I will be inspired enough to write it down for you.

And in the spirit of my new beginning I will share with you some random pieces I found and just fell in love with!

Aheeem! Christmas, people! *wink*wink* Hope someone got the hint!

Bedding: All Modern // Mug: Indigo // Woman Canvas: Etsy // Lamp: Zincdoor // Knitted Throw: Dunelm

How can you not absolutely love the bedding? Recently I have been really going crazy with the mint colour, I was considering of dedicating the whole wishlist to it, but I thought you might think of me as some mint crazy lady? On a completely different note, what do you think about the mug? Seriously sometimes Friday just can't come soon enough!
The throw blanket is a must in those chilly autumn days as well as some other things that are leading to my one of my next posts... *hint* Knits anyone?

My probably favourite part of the wishlist is the painting! Etsy is such an amazing place to find talented people that can craft, paint, sew etc... Of course there are no words to describe how much I like the ombre lamp even though it is pretty pricey! It will be so useful if you have any alternatives in mind?

Well I think that is all from me for today, Hope you enjoyed my little wishlist and I will see you really soon in my next post!

Lots of love,

Bobbie

Father's Day Picnic Dad

Wow it has been forever since I last posted something here.

It has been so hectic and busy with keeping up with work that I barely have any free time to post in the blog. It is not that I have nothing to post, I have been places, met people, found a lot of interesting things online that I wanted to tell you about but every time I open the blog to write I just feel my muse slipping down my fingers. Well today is one of those rare days when I actually have time to sit and put my random rumblings into writing.

Father’s Day is coming up this week here in the UK and all I can see everywhere is promotions for greeting cards, meals and tickets to different shows. It all made me join in the hype and post something along the line of the holiday.

I have been kindly asked to pick my favourite Father’s Day style from Bonobos’s guide and I have set my eyes on the picnic dad!

The look is perfect for the season since the weather is quite nice but not too summery, after all I live in England and here you can never be 100% sure of what the weather will be like in the next 30 minutes. The choice of colours is quite good and I think it can be appealing to dads of all ages.

I hope you all have a marvelous Father’s Day on Sunday and try spending some quality time with your dads!

Xoxo
Talk to you all next time!

P.S Promise, it won’t take me that long for a new post!

Highlight your natural beauty

First I will say that I do not wear a lot of make up. The right expression is hardly any and if I do I wear only an eye liner and a bb cream... and in the rare cases I do wear make up, it is all natural colours. But when I was offered to review the Fusion Beauty Ultraflesh Shine Box (Enhancer powder, Cream Shimmers, Highlighter eyeliner)I was a bit hesitant but when I saw how natural and pretty the colours are I knew that I will put it into a good use.

  • 2x All Over Highlighter
  • 2x All Over Shimmer
  • 1x All Over Enhancer
I was too impatient to wait and take pictures while unboxing it, so I will just mention that it was really nicely packed with white ribbon and shiny gift wrap for the box itself, perfect presentation!
When I opened the product I was surprised that the texture of the shimmer isn't so powdery but instead it is gives your face the warmth that highlights your features.
The small eye liner pencils are ideal to highlight the corner of your eyes after applying black eyeliner. The contrast is so pretty! One of the best things about the product is that it is very blendable, you can wear it in a combination with other similar colours or just on its own for more natural look.
The  cream and powder products are seperated in different layers which means there won't be any confusion mixing them(very very handy).
The powder producs consists of pinky/bronze tones and makes the blending even easier. The shimmer is not on large chunks providing an excellent application with a brush.

But the best feature for me is that the whole box is a super compact size which you can carry around in your handbag with no problem.

Do you wanna build a snowman?

Just today I realised I haven’t made a wishlist in a year or so but I have always been looking for things online so not making one is just out of laziness.
I will be lazy no more! My January WishList is entirely made of home décor stuff I really liked while browsing online. The heart pillow will look really great on a small sofa or in a combination with more pillows on a big bed. The column bowl candleholder is so perfect for a nice relaxing night in on a cold winter day (lighting my candles while writing). Christmas may be gone for now but winter is still here so the two snowmen (“Do you wanna build a snowman?”) are much appreciated decoration for the season. The clock is another geeky thing I found which will be perfect for my bedroom! I have had a few journals when I was younger but this one will turn into a scrapbook!
“There is no place like home”, indeed there isn’t! Such a true quote that I will definitely hang on my wall one day.  The boxes I do not particularly need but there is always at least one item I get that I don’t need but I liked and I couldn’t resist, aren’t we women all the same?

That is my post for today, I hope you will like my wishlist, if you have your own home edition wishlist posts leave them in the comments so I can see them! Thanks!

Happy Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all! May it be blessed and just amazing! It has been a while since I last posted! But it has been a really long month full of magical moments and of course a lot of work.

Christmas for me is always about spending it with your loved ones, the smell of pealed oranges and delicious hot chocolate Christmas morning! What more can you want?
Plus I had a very productive month at work and of course being invited to see Annie Haak's new winter collection at the end of November was a really special treat for me. I hope your holidays were amazing as well and you enjoy yourself a lot!

Some of my frieds and family got me a really awesome knitted sweaters and other things so I started browsing through Etsy to find more hand made stuff and I found awesome items that I want to share with you :)
